    The Beginning

    In the summer of 2000, I Chris Lambrinides, professionally cleaned my first window. 6 weeks later I was out on my own working for my very first business ACWC.

    My Personal Hell

    The next 5 years were brutal. Blood, sweat, tears, hunger, frustration, demolished personal life and relationships, sleepless nights, endless anxiety. I was trying very hard to build a successful window cleaning business, and things were not going the way I had expected. You know it and I know it, the window cleaning business is no joke. It can and will be extremely difficult. Weather, cash flow, employees, vehicles, bidding, competitors, the list is endless. –  Sound Like You?

    The Turnaround

    In 2005 things eventually turned around, all the hard work finally paid off. Make no mistake; things didn’t just magically turn around for me. It was a ton of hard work, studying and lessons learned the hard way.

    When I originally brain stormed the idea for ACWC I never saw past the point I hit in early 2007. I never saw it being any bigger or myself doing anything else. Following some principals I read in a book, I had successfully taken myself out of the business and built a nice little cash machine in the process. With my new free time I found myself online more and more, cruising window cleaning forums and message boards, just reading and soaking up information. At this point we were ordering a lot of window cleaning supplies do to the size of our company. Much like the message boards and forums I was participating in, I wasn’t satisfied with the level of knowledge or care I was getting with my suppliers.

    • There was nobody out there teaching window cleaners the pitfalls, things that could have helped me avoid my 5-year personal hell.
    • Nobody teaching growth, advanced marketing, revenue strategies, employee management, SEO, or business building.
    • Nobody teaching about the correct use of tools and equipment. Seriously, no one could tell me the difference between hard and soft squeegee rubber
    • The information simply wasn’t there.
